Help with OpenVPN Firewall and Routing... I've tried to get help for this a few different places, and I'm hoping some can help me with configuring my TS-453 Pro and OpenVPN via SSH. I've followed a lot of advice from other forums and tuorials, but I can't seem to get what I want. Copying from a USB Drive I have a 6TB drive half full of movies that I want to load onto drive 1 (my only drive) on my TS253. I see that you can attach a USB drive, but I cannot see how you can copy from files from the USB to drive 1. QNAP HS 251 not reachable Hi, Today I got my HS 251 with 2 4TB WD Red disks. I connected my NAS directly to the provider's router. Lost second Ethernet adapter All, I recently got spare TS-459 Pro II which I would like to use as remote backup for my TS-569 Pro II. Something went wrong with Ethernet interfaces setup. A router is connected to the port "LAN 1" and I can access the web-interface of the NAS on 10.0.1.146. What I see in the web-admin is that "LAN 2" is actually connected (not LAN 1). Sharing of External Drive attached to TS-419p II I have attached a WD red 3TB drive to the rear USB 3.0 of my TS-419p II NAS server. The Drive was formatted and is ready. Access NAS volume from Ubuntu Don't you hate it when you can't find the obvious, I do... I have a 453 Pro and have built an Ubuntu 14.04 VM with ease. What I can't locate is how to access a NAS volume. I'm considering one of the X51 or x53 models and I'd like the future growth room of an 8 bay but I feel like RAID 5 (or even 6) across 8 drives is unwise. Bad Disk? I was alerted last night the SMART scan found: HDD 2 Complete Test result: Completed: read failure. So I ran a SCAN on HDD 2. The UI was stuck on "Loading Data" for about 2 hours but then came back with: Bad Blocks Scan completed. 5 bad block(s) found.
