Multimedia Management always scanning
Photo Station, Music Station, Video Station
Multimedia Management always scanning Real-time scan was set by default and the only way to change it to schedule or manual was to click "Deactivate Media Library", restart it then change the settings. Interface showed "Ready" in blue but once it starts the scheduled scan it never seems to stop. So even though I have set it to schedule scan it is always scanning. Is this normal? Paused While RAID Rebuilding - Need Help So I had a drive flat-out drop dead. I yanked it out and popped in the spare drive. During rebuilding, a second drive had errors. Now, the NAS is idle and not rebuilding. The second errored drive isn't dead yes so I need to coax the rebuild while I can. What can I do...help! Limit indexing of "Multimedia-Station" to selected folders I want to set in index for my /myphotos folder and started the Multimedia-Station. The Station finds over 3.000 Photos. Most of them are found in some unneeded html-Site-Backup-Directories. How can I prevent my Multimedia-Station from indexing all these pictures I never want to see (like: "black_placeholder100x34.jpg"). what types of iscsi initiator for Windows Hi, I am using http://jscsi.org/ target to my tests and microsoft iscsi initiator for windows. I already tryed starwind iscsi initiator but it dindt work. I would like to try another types of initiators. Any suggestions? The reason for that is I could open until 8TB on windows and format with NTFS. SAMBA, Web server, and apps not working I installed the latest firmware and ever since then I'm not able to connect to my QNAP ts-469L via Samba(I can only thru NFS). After the update my drives did not load but after going to the storage manager I was able to get them to connect. Also the web server won't load most apps, except for a few that I've installed. Raid6 unmounted and Superblock is corrupted. Help!!! Hello, I have a TS 809pro with 8 disks. Firmware 4.1.1 Lots of data and after a firmware update I've got a unmounted Raid6. Before the firmware update I've change 1 disk and let the rebuild be completed. Contacted Qnad and they tried rebuilding the raid but currently, no solution. Raid Resyncing everytime after crash?? (unstable since 4.1.1 So my system is so unstable since the upgrade to 4.1.1. Last crash, I noticed it was resyncing, it took HOURS! And no, no drive failed.
