Synology DS1513+/QNAP TS-219P II RSYNC questions I am trying to sync my local NAS (a Synology DS1513+) to my QNAP TS 219P II using Rsync. I have no problems making the connection and transferring data, but here is my problem... Make VLC Player the default player within Video Station G'day, We posted a query about a month ago http://forum.qnap.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=98569 which no one it seems is able to answer. vSphere Plugin no longer showing DataStores I installed the vSphere plugin for my ESX 5.5 server awhile back and at the time verified all of my DataStores (iSCSI LUN's) on my QNAP showed up under the QNAP tab. Sandisk Extreme 3.0 USB not recognised on rear ports I just got a 64GB Sandisk Extreme 3.0 USB flash drive, which can be really speedy on USB 3 ports. However, as I tried to connect it to the USB 3.0 ports at the back of my 469L, it was not recognised. Also tried the 2.0 ports at the back but also no go. My QNAP TS-269L mentioned that there was an update for Surveillance Station Pro so I installed it (and yes rebooted the NAS afterwards). S3 plus restore job question Assuming a bare metal restore. If I want to restore an entire bucket from S3, where is it looking for the metadata for the restore? Is it looking on the S3 site (assuming credentials already entered in the app)? Or is it looking locally for that data?
