Full rescan after update?

Full rescan after update? Hi, I just updated from 7.6.1 to 7.7.1 and realized that the scanner has been started and does a full rescan. Is this intentional and required only once due to some new features? Or is it a bug and it will now rescan the whole collection on every restart now?
