Creating share to .timemachine renders TimeMachine useless Hi, I'm in desperate need of some help. I created a network share and pointed it to the .timemachine directory, because I had to recover some files from a fried Mac's TimeMachine backup. Once I was done, I deleted the share, but didn't delete the contents, because I didn't want to mess with the integrity of the TM sparsebundle.
