Videos vs Movies (and changing file details within)

Videos vs Movies (and changing file details within) In Xbmc, there is an option (among others) for 'Videos 'and another for 'Movies', but in the Qnap folder under 'Network connections' there are only folders for 'music', 'photo' or 'video'. I'd like to access my homemade video clips under 'video' and my legal rips of Hollywood movies under 'movies'. Is there a way to do this?
