Connect TS 212 with a Powerwalker UPS VI 800

Connect TS 212 with a Powerwalker UPS VI 800 I want to use my old Powerwalker VI 800 UPS. It does not seem to be recognized as a USB UPS device, though I found it could be a serial USB device. Has anybody got an idea how to make it work?
