Strange case of Bonjour stopping 3.8.1 and 3.8.2

Strange case of Bonjour stopping 3.8.1 and 3.8.2 I have 2 QNAPs. An older TS-219P and a newer TS-219P II. Both run (having downgraded) 3.8.1, both have the same settings. I only use Mac services (AFP and TimeMachine) and the QNAP's are accessed by clients running everthing from 10.6 to 10.8. The older TS-219P works flawlessly with both AFP and TimeMachine showing in every clients Finder.
