Is there a simple way of creating a symbolic link?

Is there a simple way of creating a symbolic link? Command lines scare me - I know nothing of programming (but i love my gadgets!). I have read many threads, some of which are years old as I want to create a symbolic link from my media folders to the Multimedia Station. Is there a way of doing this through a GUI?
