newbie can't access apps thru live links

newbie can't access apps thru live links I've downloaded and installed several apps onto my TS-459 Pro. The enable buttons are clicked, the apps are downloaded. All goes well and the live links appear to give access to the pages. However, neither link (http://, https://) gets me to any app's page, except web file manager.
