iSCSI and SMB slow perfomance I've got TS-459pro worked fine, except smb shares with advanced files sharing, but it's not the point. The point is, slow network perfomance over smb and iSCSI. I'm using balance rr, NAS is directly connected (like all of my servers) to my Cisco 3750 gigabit ethernet switch. smb is for file sharing, iSCSI is for backup create\copy.
