Does updating Twonky keep the default DLNA app?

Does updating Twonky keep the default DLNA app? I just updated Twonky to 7.0.9 (using the official QNAP link). Is it correct that the default DLNA service application remains in the Applications list instead of being replaced by the upgrade?
