HDD LED Doesn't work with custom kernel

HDD LED Doesn't work with custom kernel I have a TS-259 on which I recently replaced the OS with a hardened Gentoo build. Under the QNAP firmware the HDD activity LEDs work fine, but when I am running my Gentoo kernel I get no HDD activity indicators at all.
