Format USB-drive to EXT3 takes forever? So I have a new 2bay-case, with raid mode. Ive set it to Mirroring, plugged it in, formatted it to NTFS, took 1minute, done... Then I started to copy file to is, first 180GB were fast, around +30MB/s, but hours later, came back, it had stalled, not really, but speed had dropped to about 10MB/minute!
