Backing up to HFS+ messes up my Mac files I'm still setting up my new 219 and decided there's enough stuff on there to warrant a backup. I have a 2TB USB3 drive for the purpose. Most of the files on the NAS are archives created on our Macs over several years. They were uploaded using SMB and we read them using AFP, copying them back to the Macs to work on them.
